Environmental Impact Assessment & Reporting

Greg Barrett & Associates undertakes environmental impact assessment and reporting as required by the Western Australian Environmental Protection Act (1986), the Western Australian Mining Act (1978) and the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act (1999).

We have been involved in the preparation of Public Environmental Reviews, licensing and works approvals documentation, and Mining Proposals. Some non-statutory environmental impact assessment has been carried out for strategic planning purposes.

We have assisted two large mining companies and a Western Australian government authority to produce Public Environment Reports. The reports were consistent with established guidelines and included the development of environmental objectives and key performance indicators. Verification of Public Environment Reports prepared by others has also been carried out.

We have experience in both undertaking and reviewing National Pollutant Inventory reporting.
